A Thought

You know, you hear those songs about the guy chasing the girl, and he’s all happy that he “won” her. Why do those guys feel good about having to chase the girl in the first place? Why aren’t they offended that the girl didn’t see what a good thing he was in the first place?

We really do love the chase. And, at the end when we finally win her heart, it's worth it.

Jacob served Laban for 14 years to earn the right to marry Rachel.

Hard work adds value to accomplishment. It can also soften the blow of failure. You just have to know what it is you are chasing after. You just have to be careful not to chase after the wind.
